The Pro Farmer Crop Tour on Friday revealed the final findings of its assessments of crops in seven of the biggest US corn and soybean states.
Note that the Pro Farmer final state-by-state yield totals differ from those released during the tour.
They take into account “factors like crop maturity, historical differences in tour data versus USDA’s final yields, areas outside those sampled on tour, etc” as well as the field assessments, a tour statement said.
“That’s why the state yield numbers below differ from the crop tour figures.”
